We are an independent, not-for-profit, charitable organisation operating in North Western Sydney since 2007, and run entirely by volunteers.
We enjoy Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, so all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. 100% of donated funds are returned to the North Western Sydney community, and no administration fees are deducted.
All community support programs providing relief to the disadvantaged in North Western Sydney are fully funded.
To contribute financial support to Community Sector Programs by vigorous, ongoing and effective fundraising activities.
The Foundation provides support to children, youth and families. This support is generally not available through normal government supported programs.
The Community Foundation of North Western Sydney commenced its operations in 2007 in the Sydney Hills district.
The Foundation was established in response to increasing disadvantage in the North Western Region of Sydney, taking in the local government areas of The Hills, Blacktown, Hawkesbury, Hornsby and Parramatta.
The Foundation has been set up as a Public Benevolent Institution which has been approved by the Australian Taxation Office to operate with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Tax Charity Concession (TCC) status.
